
BLINDING: is process that prevents study participants, case givers or outcome assessors from knowing which intervention was received.
Types:
· Single blind
· Double blind
· Triple blind
Single blind: In this group of individual involved in the trial does not know the identity of intervention that given to participant.
Double blind: In this trial investigator and subject (Patent) both of them are unaware of subjects distribution to trial group and control group.
Triple blind: There groups of individuals involved in the trial do not know the identity of intervention that is given to each participant.
All three subject, Investigator and monitoring committee do not know about subject distribution to both groups.
